Cardimo support
A little help,
right here.
Get started with your cards, understand app lock, and know exactly where your information is stored.
Getting started
How do I add a card?
Tap the + button on the main screen. Enter a card name, add a card number if you need one, choose a color, and tap Save. A name is enough to create a card.
How do I add extra information?
While adding or editing a card, tap Add More Information. Give the new row a label and enter its value. You can add expiry dates, phone numbers, notes, or other details. Use a new row for each item you want to keep.
Can a card number contain letters?
Yes. Cardimo accepts letters, numbers, spaces, and symbols in the card number field. It is not limited to bank card numbers.
How do I change the order of my cards?
Touch and hold a card on the main screen, then drag it to its new position. Put frequently used cards near the top.
How do I edit or delete a card?
Open the card, then use the edit action to change its details. Use Delete Card to remove that card. Deleting a card cannot be undone in Cardimo.
Privacy and app lock
How do I enable Face ID or Touch ID?
Open Settings in Cardimo and enable the unlock switch in the Security section. Complete the system authentication to turn it on. The available method depends on your device, and the system can also use your device passcode.
When does Cardimo ask me to unlock?
With app lock enabled, authentication is required when the app starts a new session and when you return after at least one hour in the background. A short trip to another app after unlocking does not trigger another verification. If you cancel authentication, Cardimo remains on its lock screen and you can tap the unlock button to try again.
What if Face ID does not recognize me?
Follow the system authentication prompt to retry or use your device passcode when offered. Cardimo does not have a separate account password and cannot reset your device's passcode.
What happens when I copy or share a card?
Copied card numbers are kept on the current device's clipboard and set to expire after one minute. When you choose to share, the card information goes to the app or recipient you select. Copies saved by another app are controlled by that app.
Storage and recovery
Does Cardimo sync with iCloud?
No. Card records are saved on this device only and excluded from system backups. Cardimo does not provide cross-device sync, a cloud backup, or an import and restore service.
Can I recover my cards after deleting the app?
No. Cardimo does not keep a server or cloud copy of your card records. Deleting the app, erasing the device, or losing the device means those records cannot be recovered through Cardimo.
How do I erase all my card records?
Open Settings in Cardimo, tap Erase All Data, and confirm. This removes all card records from the app and cannot be undone. It does not remove copies that you previously shared or pasted into other apps.
The app reports that local storage is unavailable. What should I do?
Close and reopen Cardimo, and check that your device has available storage. Restarting the device may help with a temporary system issue. Avoid deleting the app as a troubleshooting step if you need to keep your existing cards, because there is no cloud copy to restore.
These answers describe the current Cardimo app. App settings may appear in English or Simplified Chinese, depending on your device language.
